“Wood is in the Detail” Exhibition Report

Following last year’s successive events of the Green Initiative Week in Indonesia, an exhibition entitled “Wood is in the Detail” took place in the charming Kapimanyar Gallery in Jakarta between February 3 and 28. This exhibition showed the finalist works of the Innovative Wood Joint System Design Competition, carefully selected by international jury members. Its highlight was a round table “Rethinking on Wood”, organized as its opening event by inviting the winners of the competition as well as professional architects and designers. Zaqi Fathis as the first place winner, Trianzani Sulsi as the second and Zul Fadzly Mohd Salleh as the third opened a fresh and stimulating debate in front of the jury members represented by Riichi Miyake, director of ARCHI-DEPOT Corporation.

This exhibition will be incorporated in the coming exhibition to be held in Tokyo in January 2019.
